Description

These Air Fryer Turkey Cutlets are juicy, tender, and bursting with herb butter flavor. Ready in just 15 minutes with only 5 ingredients, they make the perfect easy weeknight dinner for the whole family. No grill, no oven — just your air fryer!

Ingredients

  • 4 turkey breast cutlets, boneless, skinless — about 4 to 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary

Instructions

  • Pat turkey cutlets dry with paper towels. This helps them brown rather than steam.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Brush the butter and herb mixture evenly over both sides of each turkey cutlet.
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (air fryer setting) for 3 minutes.
  • Place turkey cutlets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overlap.
  • Air fry for 5 to 6 minutes, then flip. Air fry for another 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Check internal temperature — it must reach 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.
  • Remove from air fryer, rest for 2 to 3 minutes, then plate and serve.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

• Always use a meat thermometer — 165°F is the USDA safe minimum internal temperature for all poultry.
• Do not overlap cutlets in the basket. Work in batches if needed for best results.
• Baste with extra butter when you flip the cutlets for even more flavor and moisture.
• Thinner cutlets (½ inch) will be done in 8–10 minutes; thicker cutlets (1 inch) may need up to 14 minutes.
• Cooking frozen turkey cutlets: Add 5–7 extra minutes and always verify 165°F internal temp.
• Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
• Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes.
