Description
Sweet, savory Korean marinated beef with caramelized edges — cooked in the air fryer in about 10 minutes. No marinating and no grill required.
Ingredients
1
pound
Trader Joe's Bool Kogi
,
1 package
Cooking spray
2
teaspoons
Toasted sesame seeds
,
for garnish (optional)
2
teaspoons
Sliced green onions
,
for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for 5 minutes.
Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray or line it with air fryer parchment paper.
Separate the beef slices, letting excess marinade drip off. Arrange in a single layer without overlapping. Cook in batches if needed.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the slices halfway through, until the edges are browned and caramelized.
If the edges aren't caramelized, cook 2–3 minutes more, watching closely to avoid overcooking.
Let rest 2 minutes, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve over rice or with lettuce for wraps.

Air Fryer
Cooking Spray
Parchment Paper,
optional
Notes
Separate the slices before cooking — clumped beef steams instead of searing.
All air fryers run slightly differently. Start checking at 8 minutes.
Reheat leftovers at 350°F for 2–3 minutes.
