Description

Air Fryer Tomato and Buffalo Mozzarella Bruschetta made quick and crispy. Fresh tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and basil on toasted bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 large beefsteak tomato
  • 1 log Buffalo mozzarella
  • 8-10 basil leaves
  • 2-4 cloves garlic, (depending on how much you love garlic)
  • 1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, optional
  • 1 loaf bread, Italian, French, or rustic bread, sliced

Instructions

  • Start by cutting 1 large beefsteak tomato and 1 log Buffalo mozzarella into small dice and put them in a medium-sized bowl.
  • Then finely chop the 8-10 basil leaves and 2-4 cloves garlic and add to the bowl.
  • Drizzle about 11-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil over the ingredients and season with 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  • You can add 1 teaspoon lemon juice to add some extra taste.
  • While the Bruschetta Mix is marinating, slice your 1 loaf bread into 1/4 inch slices. Set the bread into the air fryer basket, drizzle with olive oil, and set the temperature to 375 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Spoon a few tablespoons of the Bruschetta mixture on top of the toasted bread.
