Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken Bowls -- Do you love delicious and convenient meals that come together in no time?
Ingredients
Chicken:
1poundboneless, skinless chicken breast
1tablespoonolive oil
1teaspoonkosher salt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
Homemade Teriyaki Sauce: (Omit if using store-bought teriyaki sauce)
1/4cuplight brown sugar
1/4cupsoy sauce
2tablespoons rice vinegar
1/2teaspoonground ginger
2cloves garlic , minced
1tablespooncornstarch
Serving:
1stalkgreen onions, sliced
2teaspoonssesame seeds
Instructions
Add the chicken, olive oil, salt, and pepper to a large bowl, and toss well to coat.
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees f for 2-3 minutes; then place the chicken into the bottom of the basket in a single layer, and set the cooking time for 10-5 minutes.
Remove the chicken when the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F by using a meat thermometer and inserting it into the thickest part of the chicken.
.Add your sauce ingredients to a small bowl, and mix well until blended. In a small saucepan, cook over medium-high heat until warmed through; it will start to thicken. Be careful to keep on stirring before removing it from the heat.
Dice your chicken into bite-sized pieces, and toss with the sauce. Serve with sesame seeds or diced green onions.
