Juicy sirloin and jumbo shrimp in a lime-garlic-cilantro marinade, skewered and air fried at 400°F in 10 minutes. A steakhouse dinner with weeknight effort.
Ingredients
Marinade
½cupolive oil
4limes, juiced
3teaspoonsminced garlic
1teaspoonkosher salt, or to taste
2tablespoonsfresh cilantro, diced
Kabobs
1poundsirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1poundjumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
2tablespoonsbutter, melted (for brushing)
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, garlic, salt, and cilantro.
Add the steak cubes and shrimp, toss to coat, cover, and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
Thread the steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating pieces and leaving a little space between each.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Place the skewers in a single layer in the basket. Air fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the steak reaches your preferred doneness (130°F medium-rare, 140°F medium). Cook in batches if needed.
Brush with melted butter, rest for 2–3 minutes, garnish with cilantro and lime, and serve.
