Ingredients
4cupsbread cubed, I like to get the French bread and cut ½ inch thick slice and cut each slice in cubes
2tablespoonssalted butter, melted
½cupcelery, chopped
1teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonItalian seasoning
¼teaspoonKosher salt
¼teaspoonground pepper
¼teaspooncelery seeds
1largeegg
¼cupchicken broth
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, mix cubed bread and butter.
Add the celery, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and celery seeds. Mix until the bread is all coated with butter and seasoning
Add egg and chicken broth and mix well with a spoon.
Pour the mixture into the air fryer basket and cook on a manual setting at 350 degrees F air fryer setting for 5 minutes.
Shake the basket (stir if you don’t have a basket, and cook for an additional 3 minutes (if you want crispier, you may want to add 2 minutes (total of 10 minutes))
Transfer into a bowl and serve as a side dish to your favorite meal.
You can use the bread you like for this recipe. You will have better results if your bread has more of a crust: French loaf, Chicago loaf, Ciabatta or even sourdough)
If you have a blend of seasoning you like you can use it instead of this one.
I use salted butter, but you can easily use unsalted or even oil if you want.
