Description

Air Fryer Sour Cream Lemon Cake makes for a great dessert. No one can resist the taste of lemon, and this homemade buttercream frosting makes it amazing!

Ingredients 

Lemon Sour Cream Cake:

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Optional:

Frosting, lemon zest, and lemon for decorating.

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  • Add the eggs to the sugar/butter mixture, then mix in the flour, baking powder, salt, zest, honey, lemon juice, lemon zest,  and sour cream. Mix well.
  • Using non-stick cooking spray, spray an air fryer-safe pan.
  • Pour the batter into the sprayed pan.
  • Set the temperature to 320 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 12-15 minutes.
  • Remove and let cool before frosting.
  • Frost, and slice.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
