Description

If you're a fan of sour cream and onion potato chips, then you'll love this recipe for air fryer sour cream and onion potato chips. These chips are crispy and full of flavor, and they're so easy to make. You'll be amazed at how well they come out in the air fryer!

Ingredients 

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk powder, see notes in the post on where to purchase
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives

Instructions

  • Use your mandoline slicer and slice the. But, if you do have a mandoline, use a sharp knife.
  • Place the sliced potatoes into a large bowl. Cover the potatoes for about 20 minutes in cold water.
  • Drain the water, and then lay them out on a paper towel or kitchen towel and cover them so that they dry off—cover for about an hour.
  • In a small bowl, add the buttermilk powder, onion powder, and dried chives, mix well. Dip your potato chips in the mixture.
  • Place them into a greased air fryer basket or the air fryer tray as you coat them. Set the temperature to 390 degrees F, air fryer setting, cook for 7 to 10 minutes, flip them about halfway during the cooking process. Remove when they are fully cooked.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
