Description

Make perfect, crispy-edged Air Fryer Skillet Cornbread in minutes! This easy recipe gives you a golden, fluffy cornbread with less effort and all the flavor.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup milk, whole
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  • Start by mixing all of your dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, the cornmeal, flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  • Then mix in the wet ingredients, buttermilk, whole milk, and egg, mix well.
  • Then spray your cast iron skillet with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Pour your batter into the prepared skillet.
  • Set your time to 9 minutes at 350 degrees F. I checked mine and it was golden brown on the edges, so I removed it. That’s the color you are looking for, golden and firm to the touch.
