Description

Crispy Simply Potatoes in the air fryer, ready in 20 minutes with no boiling and no skillet. Golden edges, tender centers, straight from the package.

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces Simply Potatoes Diced Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potatoes, onion, and bell pepper with the olive oil until lightly coated. Add the garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and toss again.
  • Spread the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in two batches if they overlap.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket at 8 minutes and again at 14 minutes.
  • Check for doneness — edges should be deep golden and a fork should slide in easily. Add 2–3 minutes if you want them crispier.
  • Serve immediately while hot.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

  • Don't crowd the basket. Two batches beat one crowded batch.
  • At 350°F, expect 28–30 minutes with less browning.
  • Reheat leftovers at 375°F for 3–4 minutes. Don't microwave.
  • Shredded hash browns should be cooked at 375°F for 15–18 minutes, stirring every 5.
