Description

Flaky air fryer sausage biscuits stuffed with sausage, egg, and cheese — a quick, hearty homemade breakfast ready in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage, pork or chicken
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, crumbling it as it cooks. Drain.
  • Softly scramble the eggs and remove from heat while still slightly glossy.
  • Split each biscuit into two thinner rounds. Layer cheese, egg, and sausage on one round and top with the other, pressing the edges to seal.
  • Lightly spray the filled biscuits and place in the air fryer in a single layer with space between them. Air fry at 350°F for about 5 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Work in batches as needed.
  • Cool briefly and serve warm.

Equipment

Notes

To cook frozen store-bought sausage biscuit sandwiches, separate the pieces and air fry at 350°F for 5 to 6 minutes, flipping the sausage halfway, then reassemble.
