Crispy flatbread topped with flaky salmon, a creamy garlic-herb spread, capers, and fresh dill — an easy air fryer dinner ready in 25 minutes.
Ingredients
1salmon fillet, about 6 oz / 170 g, skin removed
1tspolive oil, for the salmon
¼tspsalt
¼tspblack pepper
¼tspgarlic powder
2flatbreads, about 8 inches each, or naan
4ozcream cheese, garlic-and-herb cream cheese
1tbspolive oil, for brushing
2tbspthinly sliced red onion
1tbspcapers, drained
2cupsfresh arugula
1tbspfresh dill, chopped
1lemon, zest + wedges
Cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Pat the salmon dry and rub with 1 tsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 7–9 minutes, until it flakes and reaches 145°F (63°C). Rest 2 minutes, then flake.
Brush the flatbreads with olive oil and spread each with garlic-herb cream cheese.
Top with flaked salmon, red onion, and capers. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 4–5 minutes, until golden and crisp.
Finish with arugula, dill, and lemon zest. Add cracked pepper and serve with lemon wedges.
