Description

Air Fryer Roasted Almonds are a quick, healthy snack made with just one ingredient. Roasted low and slow for a perfectly golden, crunchy result in under 10 minutes — no oil required.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw whole almonds, about 290 g
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil, optional, for seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  • If seasoning, toss the almonds with the olive oil and salt until lightly coated. For plain dry-roasted almonds, skip this step.
  • Spread the almonds in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket every 2–3 minutes. Begin checking closely at 5 minutes, as almonds burn quickly.
  • The almonds are done when fragrant, slightly darkened, and lightly crackling. Pull them a touch early if unsure.
  • Transfer immediately to a bowl and let cool completely (about 10–15 minutes). They crisp up as they cool.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

  • Every air fryer runs differently — watch your first batch closely and adjust timing.
  • Store cooled almonds in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 weeks, refrigerated for 2 months, or frozen for 6 months.
  • Season with sugar or delicate spices after roasting to prevent scorching.
