Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin --What is your go-to meal for a weeknight dinner? Mine is always the same - pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients 

  • 1-1.5 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This ensures the pork tenderloin cooks evenly and develops a nice crust.
  • Trim any excess fat or silver skin from the pork tenderloin for even cooking and better flavor absorption.
  • Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick better.
  • Rub the pork tenderloin with olive oil to help the seasonings adhere and promote browning.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, and onion powder. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the pork tenderloin, pressing it into the meat to ensure it sticks.
  • Place the seasoned pork tenderloin in the air fryer basket. Ensure there is space around the tenderloin for air to circulate.
  • Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping the tenderloin halfway through cooking. The exact time will depend on the size and thickness of the tenderloin.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The pork should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Once the pork tenderloin reaches the desired internal temperature, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring it stays tender and flavorful.
  • Slice the pork tenderloin and serve with your favorite side dishes.
