Description

Air Fryer Philly Cheesesteak Bagel Sandwich – A quick, delicious twist on a classic Philly cheesesteak, made with thinly sliced steak, veggies, and gooey provolone cheese on toasted bagels.

Ingredients 

  • 2 bagels, split in half
  • 8 oz thinly sliced beef steak, ribeye or any preferred cut
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1/2 onion, sliced thin
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, optional, or butter

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, warm the 1 tablespoon olive oil Add the 8 oz thinly sliced beef steak, 1/2 green bell pepper, and 1/2 onion. Season with 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder1 teaspoon Salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Cook for 4–5 minutes, until the steak is browned and the veggies are tender. Set aside.
  • If desired, spread a thin layer of 1 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on each 2 bagels half. Spoon the cooked steak and vegetable mixture onto each bagel half. Top with a slice of 4 slices provolone cheese
  • Set the air fryer temperature to 375 degrees F (190°C), preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the loaded bagel halves in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 375 degrees F and set cook time for 4-6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bagels are lightly toasted.
