Air Fryer Peanut Butter Pie
Description
If you are unfamiliar with peanut butter pie, it's one of the old southern classics. It is made with a graham cracker crust and a filling of peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and sugar. I topped it off today with whipped cream and some peanut butter pieces.
Ingredients
Crust:
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted, and unsalted
Peanut Butter Filling:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 8 tablespoons powdered sugar
Optional: For serving whipped cream, mini peanut butter chips, etc.
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
- Once the crumbs and melted butter have been mixed, press them firmly into a greased ramekin.
- Set the ramekins into the air fryer at 330 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 5-7 minutes, just long enough for the crust to get browned. Remove and let cool.
- While the crust cools, prepare the filling. In a small mixing bowl, mix the heavy cream, sugar, peanut butter, and cream cheese, and mix until well blended.
- Mix in the powdered sugar, and mix until smooth.
- Spoon the topping into the crust, and then place into the refrigerator for about an hour before serving..
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
