This Air Fryer Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich has crispy, golden bread and a warm peanut butter and jelly filling. It is an easy 11-minute lunch or snack made with four simple ingredients.
Ingredients
2slicessandwich bread
2tablespoonscreamy or crunchy peanut butter
2tablespoonsjelly, jam, or fruit preserves
1teaspoonsoftened butter, optional
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 1–2 minutes.
Spread the peanut butter evenly over one slice of bread.
Spread the jelly over the second slice, leaving approximately ¼ inch around the edges.
Place the slices together with the filling inside.
Spread softened butter over both outside surfaces of the sandwich.
Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Secure it with a toothpick or air fryer rack if lightweight bread moves in your machine.
Air fry at 350°F for 3–4 minutes.
Flip the sandwich and cook for another 2–3 minutes, or until both sides are golden brown.
Remove the toothpick, if used, and let the sandwich cool for 1–2 minutes before slicing and serving.
