  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Prepare the Coating: In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, a pinch of salt, and a dash of pepper. Mix well to create the seasoned breadcrumb mixture.
  • Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated. Allow any excess egg to drip off.
  • Breadcrumb Coating: Place the egg-coated chicken breasts into the seasoned breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken, ensuring they adhere well and form a nice crust.
  • Prep for Air Frying: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking. Place the breaded chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between them for even cooking.
  • Air Fry: Spray the tops of the chicken breasts with a bit more olive oil. Cook in the preheated air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
  • Flip and Cook: After 10 minutes, carefully flip the chicken breasts using tongs. Continue cooking for an additional 5-8 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden and crispy.
