Add ice water a little at a time until dough is moistened and comes together in a ball. Form into a ball and flatten to a round disk. Roll dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin to about 12 inches round.
In a large bowl, add sliced apples, sprinkle with sugar and flour and toss to coat. Sprinkle with apple pie spice and toss to coat Pile apples in the center of the crust, then fold edges of dough over apple mixture, crimping the edges slightly.
Air Fry for 15-25 minutes at 330 degrees F, air fryer setting. Serve warm or room temperature with your favorite toppings.
For an easier time moving the crostata, assemble in the air fryer basket or tray. This way it will not slide around while you are preparing it.
This recipe will work in any Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. This recipe will also work in the Ninja Foodi, PowerXL, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and Mealthy Lid. The cooking time will vary, but the recipe will stay the same.
If you find that your Apple Crostata sticks, use a piece of parchment paper or an Air Fryer silicone reusable liner.
