Description

Golden biscuit-dough pockets with a molten Nutella center, air fried in 8 minutes. Four ingredients, no deep frying, and oven instructions included.

Ingredients

  • 1 package biscuits, Homestyle or Buttermilk — not Flaky Layers
  • 1 cup Nutella, room temperature and stirred
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted, unsalted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  • Separate the 8 biscuits and peel each one horizontally into 2 thin rounds, for 16 total.
  • Press or roll each round into a 4-inch circle, checking for holes and thin spots.
  • Spoon a rounded tablespoon of Nutella into the center of each circle.
  • Gather the edges over the filling and pinch firmly to seal, then roll between your palms into a smooth ball with the seam on the bottom.
  • Spray the air fryer basket or line it with parchment. Arrange the bombs seam-side down, about 2 inches apart. Brush tops and sides with melted butter.
  • Air fry at 330°F for 7 to 9 minutes, until deep golden brown. Cook in two batches.
  • Cool 3 to 5 minutes, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.

Equipment

  • Rolling Pin
  • Cooking spray or parchment liner
  • Pastry Brush

Notes

Oven Instructions

Preheat to 375°F. Place sealed bombs in a sprayed muffin tin, brush with butter, and bake 12 to 14 minutes until golden. Cool briefly and dust with powdered sugar.
Flaky Layers biscuits are engineered to separate as they cook and will open at the seam. Use Homestyle or Buttermilk. Filling is very hot straight from the basket — let them rest before biting in.
