Ingredients
8hot dogs, or Johnsonville Beddar with Cheddar sausages
8ouncesrefrigerated crescent dough, or seamless crescent sheet
16candy eyes, or yellow mustard
Cooking spray
1largeegg, beaten (optional, for egg wash)
Instructions
Cut the dough: Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together. Cut it into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.
Wrap the hot dogs: Pat the hot dogs dry. Wrap 2 to 3 strips around each one, crisscrossing like bandages. Leave a small gap near one end for the face.
Prep the basket: Spray the air fryer basket. Place the mummy dogs in a single layer with space between them. Brush with egg wash, if using.
Air fry: Cook at 330°F for 6 to 8 minutes, until the dough is golden and cooked through. Work in batches if needed.
Add the eyes: Cool for 1 to 2 minutes, then press two candy eyes into each face gap. A dab of mustard helps them stick. Serve with ketchup and mustard.
