Crispy, edible mini taco bowls filled with seasoned beef, melty cheese, and fresh toppings — ready in 15 minutes with the help of your air fryer.
Ingredients
1cupiceberg lettuce, shredded
½cupMexican cheese, shredded
1lblean ground beef
¼cupsofrito
24mini taco boat shells, 2 boxes
Pico de gallo, or salsa of choice
Fresh cilantro, for garnish
2tablespoonstaco seasoning
1cupcilantro-lime sour cream
1tablespoonolive oil
Instructions
Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat with the olive oil. Add the ground beef and break it into small pieces. After 1 minute, add the taco seasoning and brown the beef for 5 minutes. Stir in the sofrito, lower the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 390°F for 5 minutes.
Fill each taco boat with about 3 tablespoons of taco meat and top with a pinch of cheese.
Place the boats in the air fryer in a single layer and cook at 390°F for 5 minutes.
Remove and top with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and cilantro-lime sour cream.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
