Description

Bring holiday magic to your kitchen with these Air Fryer Melting Snowman Cookies, a whimsical winter treat featuring a soft sugar cookie base and a gooey marshmallow topper. They are the perfect, quick-to-bake Christmas dessert that looks professionally decorated but takes only minutes in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 package sugar cookie mix
  • White Frosting
  • Gels, black, orange, and black.
  • Marshmallows (large)
  • Black pen, edible

Instructions

  • Prepare your favorite sugar cookie dough (homemade or store-bought) and scoop it into 1-inch balls. Place them in the air fryer basket lined with perforated parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced at least 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
  • Set your air fryer to 320°F and bake the cookies for 6 to 8 minutes. You want the edges to be just lightly golden while the centers remain soft and pale.
  • As soon as the cookies come out of the air fryer, immediately press a large marshmallow onto the center of each warm cookie. The residual heat will act like glue, slightly melting the bottom of the marshmallow so it sticks perfectly.
  • Once the cookies have cooled completely, spoon a small amount of white frosting around the base of the marshmallow. Let it drip naturally toward the edges of the cookie to mimic the look of a melting snow puddle.
  • Using your edible black pen or black decorating gel, draw two dots for eyes and a coal-beaded smile on the marshmallow. Use the orange gel to pipe a tiny carrot nose, and finish by adding black gel "buttons" or stick arms onto the frosting puddle.
