Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut the cold unsalted butter into small cubes and add it to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the lemonade, milk, egg, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Add this wet mixture to the flour and butter mixture, stirring gently until a dough forms. Be careful not to overwork the dough.
Lightly flour a surface and turn the dough out. Gently press it into a round shape, about 1-inch thick. You can also divide the dough into smaller portions if you prefer mini scones.
Using a knife or a scone cutter, cut the dough into wedges or your desired shape.
Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with parchment paper. Arrange the scone wedges in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until the scones are golden brown and cooked through.
Once done, remove the scones from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them as is, or drizzle with a bit of icing for extra sweetness!
