Preheat your air fryer to 340°F (170°C).
Make the filling. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon extract, and lemon zest (if using) until smooth and creamy.
Separate the dough. Open the crescent roll package and separate into 8 triangles.
Fill each triangle. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the lemon cream cheese filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up. Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle toward the point. Pinch the edges gently to seal in the filling.
Air fry. Lightly grease the air fryer basket or tray. Place the rolls in a single layer, leaving space between each. Air fry at 340°F for 5 to 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
Check the bottoms. If the bottoms look pale, flip the rolls and air fry for an additional 1 minute.
Make the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk the powdered sugar and lemon juice together. Add more lemon juice, a few drops at a time, until you reach a thick but pourable consistency.
Glaze and serve. Spoon the glaze over the warm rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy!
