Easy Air Fryer Italian Beef Stromboli with tender beef, sautéed peppers and onions, melted provolone, and golden, flaky puff pastry. Perfect for a quick lunch, dinner, or game day snack.
Ingredients
1/2poundshaved ribeye steak
2tablespoonsWorcestershire Sauce
2teaspoonsminced garlic
1teaspoonsea salt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
1tablespoonlime juice
1cuponions, diced
1cupgreen bell pepper, diced
1cupred bell pepper, diced
12slicesProvolone Cheese
1sheetpuff pastry, thawed
1largeegg
1/2tablespoonsMontreal Steak Seasoning
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F for 3-5 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1/2 pound shaved ribeye steak, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 teaspoon sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon lime juice1 cup onions1 cup green bell pepper, and 1 cup red bell pepperToss to evenly distribute sauce and seasoning. Add to an 8-inch baking dish.
Place the pan into the air fryer basket and set cook time for 12-15 minutes. Remove and let cool for 5 minutes as the air fryer preheats for the next step.
Preheat the air fryer temperature to 375 degrees F, for 3-5 minutes
Roll out the 1 sheet puff pastry on a lightly floured wooden cutting board. Spread steak onion and pepper mixture over the top 3/4 of the puff pastry. Top with 12 slices Provolone Cheese. Tightly roll the puff pastry towards the empty end.
Brush puff pastry with 1 large egg, then sprinkle 1/2 tablespoons Montreal Steak Seasoning over the top. Make slits across the top to help aerate
Place into the air fryer, careful to keep the seam on the bottom. Set cook time for 10-12 minutes. Carefully flip the stromboli over and cook for 5 more minutes.
