Ingredients
2cupsraw almonds, whole almonds
3tablespoonshoney
2tablespoonsgranulated sugar, (plus extra for finishing, optional)
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspooncinnamon, or a pinch of cayenne pepper, optional
Instructions
In a medium bowl, toss the almonds with honey, sugar, salt, and any optional spices until evenly coated.
Line the air fryer basket with a parchment liner and spread the almonds in a single layer.
Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket every 2 to 3 minutes, until golden brown and fragrant. Watch closely near the end so the honey doesn't burn.
Transfer the almonds to a parchment-lined tray and spread them out. Sprinkle with extra sugar or flaky salt if using.
Let cool completely, 10 to 15 minutes, until the coating hardens and the almonds turn crunchy. Store in an airtight container.
