Soft, buttery Air Fryer Homemade Kourabiedes, traditional Greek almond crescent cookies coated in powdered sugar. Perfect for holidays, gifting, or special occasions.
Ingredients
1cupflour
1/2teaspoonbaking powder
1/2cuproom temperature butter
1/8cuppowdered sugar
1egg yolk
1tablespoonGreek Brandy, any Brandy will do
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
Mix the flour, baking powder, butter, powdered sugar, egg yolk, brandy, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.
Mix well, being sure to scrape the sides down.
Use an ice cream scooper to get round cookies or about 2 tablespoons of batter.
Spray your air fryer tray, or line the basket with parchment paper.
Scoop the cookie dough into the prepared air fryer basket.
Use the back of the spoon to flatten out the cookies.
Set the tray into the air fryer and set the temperature to 320 degrees F for 5 to 8 minutes. (air fryer setting)
Let cool as they come out of the air fryer oven. I did two batches. Then coat them with powdered sugar.
