Description
Air Fryer Grilled Nectarines are a juicy, caramelized summer dessert made with just nectarines, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon — ready in under 15 minutes with no grill required. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
4
nectarines
,
halved and pitted, ripe but firm
2
tablespoons
unsalted butter
,
melted (or olive oil)
2
tablespoons
brown sugar
1
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1/8
teaspoon
salt
,
optional
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
,
for serving
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 2–3 minutes if your model requires preheating.
Halve each nectarine and remove the pit. Brush the cut sides with melted butter.
In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the cut sides of the nectarines.
Arrange the nectarines cut-side up in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each half.
Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 6–8 minutes, until tender and caramelized. (For deeper grill marks, start cut-side down for 4 minutes, then flip.)
Let cool for 1–2 minutes, then serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Equipment
Air Fryer
Cooking Spray
Parchment Paper,
optional
Notes
Choose ripe but firm fruit so the nectarines hold their shape.
Don't crowd the basket — space helps the tops caramelize instead of steam.
Watch closely after the 6-minute mark; brown sugar browns fast.
No nectarines? Use the same method with peaches, plums, or apricots.
Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat at 320°F for 2–3 minutes.
