Description

Crispy air fryer Greek fries tossed in oregano and lemon, then loaded with feta, tzatziki, red onion, and Kalamata olives. An easy 30-minute Mediterranean side or snack.

Ingredients 

For the fries

  • 2 large Russet potatoes, or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon Greek seasoning

For topping

  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup tzatziki
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, for squeezing
  • Optional: Kalamata olives, pepperoncini peppers, fresh dill, diced tomato

Instructions

  • Cut potatoes into even ¼-inch sticks. Soak in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then drain and pat completely dry.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3–5 minutes. Lightly spray or brush the basket with oil.
  • In a large bowl, toss the dry fries with olive oil, lemon zest, and Greek seasoning until evenly coated.
  • Arrange fries in a single layer in the basket (work in batches if needed). Air fry 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  • Transfer to a platter and squeeze fresh lemon over the top. Top with feta, tzatziki, red onion, and parsley.
  • Garnish with optional olives, pepperoncini, and dill. Serve immediately.

Notes

Homemade Greek seasoning: combine dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried dill, black pepper, and salt to taste. Store in an airtight container.
For maximum crispiness, don't skip the soak-and-dry step and avoid overcrowding the basket.
