In a large mixing bowl mix together the 2 cups all-purpose flour, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Mix in the 1/4 cup cold butter, diced or grated, and mix until the mixture is crumbly.
Mix in the 1/3 cup molasses, 1/3 cup milk and 1 large egg white, beaten.
Mix until the mixture comes together.
Use some olive oil spray and coat your scone pan.
Pat the batter into the wedges.
Brush the beaten egg white on top, and then sprinkle with some 1 tablespoon sparkling sugar.
Set the scone pan, into the air fryer at 330 degrees F, (air fryer setting) for 12-16 minutes.
