Description

Buttery, flaky air fryer salmon brushed with garlic lime butter and ready in about 15 minutes. This keto, low-carb dinner has just 2g net carbs per serving — no honey, no breading, all flavor.

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb salmon, 2 fillets, about 6 oz each, skin-on or skinless
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, about 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped parsley or cilantro and lime wedges, to serve

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the garlic, lime juice, and lime zest and cook about 60 seconds, until fragrant. Remove from heat.
  • Pat the salmon fillets very dry. Place them in the air fryer basket, skin side down, with space between them.
  • Brush the fillets generously with the garlic lime butter, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Air fry at 390°F for 7–10 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily and reaches 145°F at the thickest part.
  • Spoon over any remaining butter, scatter with herbs, and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

  • Pat the salmon completely dry for the best crust.
  • No need to preheat — it won't change the cook time.
  • Pull at 145°F to avoid overcooking; thin tail pieces cook fastest.
  • Thaw frozen salmon first and dry well, or it will steam instead of crisp.
