Description

Buttery air fryer garlic crescent rolls made with refrigerated dough, melted garlic butter, and Italian seasoning. Golden and flaky in about 9 minutes, with no oven preheat.

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of salt, if using unsalted butter

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Set aside to infuse while you prepare the dough.
  • Unroll the crescent dough on a flat surface and separate it into 8 triangles.
  • Brush each triangle lightly with the garlic butter, reserving about half the mixture for later.
  • Roll each triangle up, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point. Curve the ends inward for a crescent shape.
  • Grease the air fryer basket or tray with brushed oil (avoid aerosol nonstick spray). Arrange the rolls point side down with space between each one — they will expand. Work in batches of about 4 in a standard basket.
  • Brush the tops with more of the garlic butter, reserving a little for finishing.
  • Air fry at 320°F for 7 to 9 minutes, until golden brown. Flip halfway if your model browns unevenly. Larger oven-style air fryers may need up to 12 minutes.
  • Brush the hot rolls with the remaining garlic butter as soon as they come out of the basket. Serve warm.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

  • Don't crowd the basket. Rolls that touch each other or the basket wall will have pale, doughy patches.
  • Second batch cooks faster because the machine is already hot. Start checking a minute early.
  • Parchment: Use perforated air fryer parchment only, and never preheat with empty parchment in the basket.
  • Storage: Airtight at room temperature up to 2 days, refrigerated up to 4 days, or frozen up to 2 months.
  • Reheating: 320°F for 2 to 3 minutes in the air fryer.
  • Oven method: 340°F for 8 to 12 minutes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Swaps: Pizza dough or biscuit dough work with the same timing; biscuit dough gives a denser roll.
