Description

This Air Fryer Garden Focaccia is golden, fluffy bread topped with fresh herbs, cherry tomatoes, and colorful vegetables. Quick and easy, it’s perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water, 100-120 degrees F
  • 1 tablepoon active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 medium grape tomatoes, diced
  • 2 small sweet peppers, diced
  • 2 tablespoons chives, diced
  • 3 sprigs parsley, diced
  • 10-12 large basil leaves, diced

Instructions

  • Add the yeast, sugar, and water together in a large bowl, mix, and sit for about 10 minutes until the yeast starts to foam.
  • Add 1 ¾ cup of flour to the yeast mixture, mix well, then mix in 3 tablespoons of oil.
  • Mix until the batter is combined, then fold in the rest of the flour.
  • If your dough is very sticky, add more to ¼ cup more.
  • Spray your baking pan with cooking spray, add your dough into the pan and flatten with your hands.
  • Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for about an hour. The dough will double in size, flatten again, and then use your fingers to poke holes in the dough.
  • Add the tomatoes, peppers, chives and make a flower with the rest of the vegetables
  • Set the temperature to 320 degrees F, air fryer setting, set the time for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the dough is fully cooked.

Notes

Note: For best results, use a THIN baking pan. Depending on how big your air fryer is, you may get 2 to 3 loaves of bread.
