Description

Frozen corn in the air fryer, roasted with butter at 400°F for 6 minutes. No thawing, golden edges, and sweet, tender kernels.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen corn kernels, do not thaw
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pats
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, optional
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
  • Olive oil cooking spray

Instructions

  • Spray an air fryer-safe baking pan with olive oil. Add the frozen corn, sprinkle with sugar, and place the butter pats on top.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 3 minutes.
  • Stir so the melted butter coats the corn.
  • Air fry 3 more minutes, until hot and lightly golden. For crispier corn, add 2 to 4 minutes, checking every minute.
  • Stir in the parsley and salt. Serve immediately.

Equipment

  • Air-fryer-safe baking pan
  • Cooking Spray

Notes

  • Basket method: skip the pan, spray the corn with oil, spread in a single layer, and shake every 2 to 3 minutes. Add butter after cooking.
  • Air fryers vary. Go by color, not just the timer.
  • Leftovers keep 3 to 4 days in the fridge. Reheat at 350°F for 2 to 3 minutes.
