Description

Crispy on the outside and tender inside, these air fryer frozen artichokes are ready in about 10 minutes — no thawing required. An easy, low-carb side dish or appetizer with just a few ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces frozen artichoke hearts, no need to thaw
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil, or avocado oil / cooking spray
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon garlic powder, lemon pepper, or grated Parmesan,

Instructions

  • Add the frozen artichoke hearts to the air fryer basket. Drizzle or spray with oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings. Toss to coat.
  • Spread in a single layer. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Cook until the edges are golden brown and crisp and the centers are tender. Add 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
  • Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon and your favorite dipping sauce.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray, optional
  • Parchment Paper, optional

Notes

  • Canned artichokes: Drain and pat very dry, then air fry at 375°F for 6–8 minutes.
  • Don't overcrowd — cook in a single layer for the crispiest result.
  • A light coat of oil crisps better than a heavy drizzle.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes.
