Crispy-edged air fryer fried eggs with a runny yolk in 5 minutes — no flipping and no oil splatter. Includes exact times for sunny side up through fully set yolks.
Ingredients
2largeeggs, room temperature
Olive oil or avocado oil cooking spray
⅛teaspoonsalt, or to taste
⅛teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper, or to taste
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 370°F for 3 minutes with your empty pans, molds, or ramekins inside.
Coat the hot pans generously with cooking spray, including the sides.
Crack each egg into a small bowl, then pour it into a pan — one egg per pan. Leave space between pans for airflow.
Air fry at 370°F for 5 minutes for a set white and runny yolk. For a jammy yolk, cook 6–7 minutes; for a firm yolk, 7–8 minutes.
Check that the white is opaque throughout with no clear areas. Add 1 minute if needed.
Release with a thin flexible spatula, season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.
