Description

Crispy, cheesy mini pizzas made in the air fryer in just 10 minutes with 5 simple ingredients. The pre-toast trick keeps them perfectly crisp instead of soggy.

Ingredients 

  • 2 English muffins, split in half with a fork
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup mini pepperoni
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Optional: bell pepper, mushrooms, olives, pineapple, basil,

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2 minutes.
  • Split English muffins with a fork. Brush cut sides lightly with olive oil. Place cut-side up in basket. Air fry 2 minutes — this is the pre-toast that prevents sogginess.
  • Remove muffins. Spread 1–2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each half.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella, pressing it down firmly. Add pepperoni and other toppings, pressing those down too.
  • Return to air fryer in a single layer. Air fry at 375°F for 5 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and edges are golden.
  • Rest 1 minute. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Serve hot.

Recipe Notes

  • Fork-split, don't knife-cut — the craggy surface grips sauce and cheese.
  • Use 1–2 tablespoons sauce maximum. More = soggy.
  • Press toppings down or use an air fryer rack to stop cheese flyaway.
  • Shred your own mozzarella from a block for the best melt.
  • Cook from frozen at 375°F for 8–10 minutes if pre-assembled.
