Instructions
Pat the pickle chips very dry with paper towels.
Add the flour to a shallow bowl. Whisk the eggs in a second bowl. Mix the crushed Doritos, parsley, cayenne, salt and pepper in a third.
Coat each pickle in flour, then egg, then press firmly into the Doritos mixture.
Spray the air fryer basket. Arrange the pickles in a single layer and mist the tops with cooking spray.
Air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes. Flip, mist again, and cook 5 to 7 minutes more until golden and crisp.
Serve immediately with ranch.
Equipment
Air Fryer
3 shallow bowls or a breading tray, for the dredging station
Zip-top bag and rolling pin, or a food processor, for crushing the Doritos
Paper towels, for drying the pickles
Tongs or a fork, for flipping
Oil mister (optional), if you'd rather not use canned spray
Perforated parchment liners (optional), for easier cleanup
Notes
Cook in batches so the pickles don't overlap.
Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 375°F for 3 to 4 minutes.
Cool Ranch or Flamin' Hot Doritos work well; reduce or skip the cayenne with spicy flavors.
