In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar, 2/3 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 4 large eggs until smooth.
Add 3 cups all-purpose flour, 3 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix just until combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Do not overmix.
Gently fold in 2 cups cranberries. If using frozen berries, add them frozen without thawing.
Grease your air fryer safe loaf pans and fill each about two-thirds full. Mini loaf pans are strongly recommended over a full-size pan.
Set the pan into the air fryer and bake at 320°F on the air fry setting for 20 to 30 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the center — if it comes out with wet batter, add 5 minutes and check again. Most air fryers need 30 to 40 minutes total.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
In a small bowl, whisk 1 cup powdered sugar with 1/4 teaspoon orange zest and 2 tablespoons orange juice. Add the remaining tablespoon a little at a time until the glaze is pourable but not runny.
Drizzle the orange glaze over the cooled loaves. Let it set for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
