Description

Crispy, buttery flour tortilla wedges tossed in cinnamon sugar and air-fried until golden. A fast, four-ingredient sweet snack or dessert ready in about 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas, 10-inch
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, stir together the sugar and cinnamon until evenly combined; set aside.
  • Melt the butter and let it cool until just warm. Brush a thin, even layer over both sides of each tortilla.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar generously over both sides, pressing gently so it sticks.
  • Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut each tortilla into 8 triangles.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the wedges in a single layer (work in batches). If your air fryer has a rack, set it on top to keep the light chips from lifting.
  • Air fry for 5–8 minutes, shaking or rearranging halfway, until golden and crisp. Check at 5 minutes to avoid burning.
  • Transfer to a wire rack and cool a few minutes — they crisp as they cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Equipment

  • Pizza cutter or sharp knife
  • Pastry Brush,
  • Wire cooling rack

Notes

  • A light coat of butter is key; too much makes chips soggy.
  • Cook in a single layer and don't overcrowd.
  • Swap cinnamon for apple-pie or pumpkin-pie spice, or add a pinch of cayenne for sweet heat.
  • Store airtight at room temp up to 3 days, or freeze up to 2 months.
