These air-fried banana donuts are soft, fluffy, and coated in melted butter and cinnamon sugar for a sweet, irresistible treat. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a cozy snack.
Ingredients
Banana Donuts:
1 1/4cupsflour (all-purpose)
1teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspoonsalt
1/2cupsugar
1/2cupbutter, room temperature
1largeegg
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
2bananas, ripe
1/2cupGreek yogurt
Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
4tablespoonsbutter, melted
1/2cupgranulated sugar
2teaspoonground cinnamon
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar and mix well.
Add the room-temperature butter, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well. Then add in your bananas and Greek yogurt.
Mix well, remembering to scrape the sides.
Generously spray your donut mold with olive oil spray.
Fill the molds about 2/3 the way full.
Set in the air fryer. Set temperature to 320 degrees F for 12-14 minutes. (air fryer setting)
Let them rest for about 5 minutes, then coat them in melted butter and then the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
