Crispy, golden, cinnamon-sugar-coated puff pastry bites made in just 10 minutes. No deep frying needed.
Ingredients
1sheetpuff pastry, defrosted
1/2cupgranulated sugar
3teaspoonsground cinnamon
Instructions
Mix 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon together in a wide shallow bowl.
Lay thawed 1 sheet puff pastry flat on a clean surface. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut into a 3×4 grid to make 12 equal squares.
Preheat air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes
Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray. Arrange squares in a single layer with space between each piece. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. Work in batches if needed.
Immediately drop the hot bites into the cinnamon-sugar bowl and toss to coat all sides. The heat makes the sugar stick — don't wait more than 30 seconds.
Plate and serve warm with chocolate sauce, dulce de leche, or Nutella for dipping. Enjoy!
Preheat every time — a cold air fryer produces flat, sad pastry. Don't overcrowd — cook in 2 batches for a small air fryer. Coat immediately while bites are piping hot or the sugar won't stick. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 day; reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes to restore crispiness.
