Crispy cinnamon apple chips made in the air fryer with three ingredients and no oil. Cooked low at 300°F so they dry all the way through instead of browning on the outside.
Ingredients
3mediumapples, cored and thinly sliced (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji)
1teaspoonground cinnamon
1tablespoongranulated sugar, optional
Instructions
Core the apples and slice into rounds about 1/8 inch thick, using a mandoline for even thickness.
Toss the slices in a large bowl with the cinnamon and sugar until evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 300°F for 3 minutes.
Arrange the slices in a single layer in the basket with no overlapping. Work in batches.
Cook 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway. Start checking at 15 minutes — they should be pale gold and dry to the touch.
Cool completely on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes. They crisp as they cool.
