Ingredients
4tablespoonsall-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
2tablespoonsbrown sugar, packed
¼teaspoonbaking powder
1pinchsalt
3tablespoonsmilk
1tablespoonunsalted butter, melted
¼teaspoonpure vanilla extract
2tablespoonssemi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
Instructions
Prep the mug: Lightly grease a 10–12 ounce oven-safe mug or ramekin with cooking spray or softened butter.
Mix dry ingredients: In the mug or a small bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt until no lumps remain.
Add wet ingredients: Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just combined — do not overmix.
Add chocolate chips: Fold in most of the chocolate chips, then sprinkle the remaining chips on top.
Air fry: Place the mug in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 8–10 minutes, until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted between the chocolate chips comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and serve: Carefully remove the mug (it will be HOT) and let cool for 2–3 minutes. Top with ice cream or whipped cream and serve warm.
