Filling
21ouncescherry pie filling
Oat crumble topping
¾cupquick-cooking oats
½cuppacked brown sugar
⅓cupall-purpose flour
½tspground cinnamon
⅛tspsalt
¼cupcold butter, cubed
For serving (optional)
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Instructions
Lightly grease an air-fryer-safe (oven-safe) baking dish. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom.
In a medium bowl, stir together the oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the cold butter with a fork or your fingertips until the mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle the oat crumble evenly over the cherry filling.
Place the dish in the air fryer and cook at 330°F for 7–10 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling bubbles at the edges.
Let cool for about 5 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Fresh/frozen cherries: Replace the pie filling with 4 cups pitted cherries tossed with ⅓–½ cup sugar, 2 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tsp lemon juice, and 1 tsp vanilla. Add a few extra minutes of cook time for frozen.
Gluten-free: Use GF oats and a 1:1 GF flour blend.
Other fillings: Blueberry, apple, raspberry, or peach all work.
Doneness: Air fryers vary — start checking at 7 minutes and tent with foil if the topping browns too fast.
