Learn how to make air fryer boxed brownies — fudgy, easy, and ready in 25 minutes with no oven. Get the exact temperature and time so the tops don't burn before the centers set.
Ingredients
18.3ouncesbrownie mix, 1 box
2largeeggs
½cupvegetable oil
2tablespoonswater
½cupchocolate chips, optional
Instructions
In a bowl, stir together the brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water until just smooth. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Line a pan that fits your air fryer basket with parchment paper, or coat it with nonstick spray. Pour in the batter and spread level.
Place the pan in the basket and air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 18–25 minutes, checking at 18 minutes.
The brownies are done when a toothpick in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
Cool in the pan at least 15 minutes, then lift out and slice.
Temperature matters: 320°F prevents burnt tops with raw centers. If your air fryer only runs at 350°F, tent the top with foil for the first two-thirds of cooking.
Times vary by wattage, pan material, and batter thickness — rely on the toothpick test.
Brownies continue cooking from carryover heat after you remove them.
