Description

Crispy, golden air fryer bologna in five minutes — no grease, no curling, no fuss. Perfect for a fried bologna sandwich or a quick savory snack.

Ingredients 

  • 8 slices bologna, (deli-thick cut preferred, about ¼ inch)

Ingredients Needed For Air-Fried Bologna Sandwich:

  • 4 slices Bologna
  • 2 slices White Bread
  • 1 tbsp Mustard , optional
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise , optional
  • 1 slice Cheese , optional
  • 2 slices Tomatoes, optional
  • 2-3 Pickle Slices, optional
  • 1-2 Lettuce Leaves, optional

Instructions

  • Cut a small "X" in the center of each slice of bologna with a paring knife. This prevents curling.
  • Arrange the bologna in a single layer in the air fryer basket, with no overlapping.
  • Air fry at 375°F for 5 to 6 minutes, until the edges are golden and slightly crisp.
  • Remove the bologna from the basket. Serve hot, on its own or stacked on toasted bread with your favorite sandwich fixings.

Notes

  • For thicker slices (over ¼ inch), add 1 to 2 minutes.
  • For paper-thin sandwich slices, check at 3 minutes.
  • To melt cheese on top, add a slice in the last minute of cooking.
  • Best eaten immediately — bologna loses its crispness as it cools.
