Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, gently combine the ground beef, 3 ounces of the blue cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix only until just combined.
Divide into 4 patties, about ¾ inch thick and slightly wider than the buns. Press a dimple into the center of each.
Let the patties rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Arrange in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them. Cook 6 minutes.
Flip once and cook 5 to 6 minutes more.
Scatter the remaining 2 ounces of blue cheese over the patties and cook 1 minute more.
Check for an internal temperature of 160°F. Rest the burgers 3 to 5 minutes.
Toast the buns in the air fryer for 1 minute if desired.
Assemble with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Serve.

Air fryer wattage varies — use the thermometer rather than the clock. Ground beef must reach 160°F. Cooked burgers keep 3 days refrigerated; uncooked patties freeze up to 3 months.
