Air Fryer Beer Battered Fish is amazing! If you've been wondering how to make battered fish in the air fryer, this is the perfect way, and it's so good.

Ingredients 

Cod:

  • 2 pieces cod fillets, about 1/2 pound

Beer Batter:

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 8 ounces beer
  • 1 large egg

Flour Dredge:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the beer batter ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the flour dredge ingredients.
  • Cut your fish into equal-sized portions.
  • Spray your air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
  • Dip the fish pieces into the beer batter, shake off the excess, then coat in the flour dredge. Use your hands to make sure each piece is fully coated.
  • Place the battered fish in the air fryer basket and spray the tops with olive oil spray.
  • Set the temperature to 380 degrees F for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through and respraying with olive oil.
