Ingredients
Cod:
2piecescod fillets, about 1/2 pound
Beer Batter:
2teaspoonssalt
1teaspoonblack pepper
1cupall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
2tablespoonscornstarch
8ouncesbeer
1large egg
Flour Dredge:
1cupall-purpose flour
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonpaprika
1teaspoonOld Bay Seasoning
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the beer batter ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour dredge ingredients.
Cut your fish into equal-sized portions.
Spray your air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
Dip the fish pieces into the beer batter, shake off the excess, then coat in the flour dredge. Use your hands to make sure each piece is fully coated.
Place the battered fish in the air fryer basket and spray the tops with olive oil spray.
Set the temperature to 380 degrees F for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through and respraying with olive oil.
